Where to purchase Q-Jet jets, metering rods, etc.

I have been searching for a place that sells individual parts like primary jets, primary metering rods, and power piston springs, etc. for a 1970 Q-Jet on a 472. Secondly, I have been told that there is a master catalogue of all Q-Jet parts, all years. If such a thing exists, and you know where I might purchase it, I would be forever gratefull. Thanks guys.

You can no longer buy the individual parts off the shelf. About 15 years ago, I bought a book written by Doug Roe who was an engineer for Rochester Carburetors back in the day. He explained all about the function of the Q-Jet and it was good reading. I probably rebuilt 20 carburetors with the knowledge obtained.

Doug Roe died sometime in the late 1990's and I received a letter from his estate. Apparently, they were selling his inventory of metering rods, etc.

The last time I needed Q-Jet parts, I bought a few complete carburetors off eBay and gutted what I needed. You can do the same.

Do you need some technical help? I still have the book!
