Decoding VIN plate
I have a 1969 Fleetwood Limo, and I'm trying to get the VIN. I've been told that the VIN should be in the following format:
S9XXXXXX - with the Xs starting at 100001
There's a plate just under the hood with model info, but I can't make out how to assemble a VIN from it. Here's what it looks like:
69 69733 P21 486
719 10 K
I know the 69733 is the Limo model number, and I'm guessing the 69 is the year... Is 719 or 486 the serial #? Would that make this 100719 or 100486? I know they only made about 1100 of these, so that would seem to fit, but I just cannot find any of this info anywhere...
