I got it knowing i needed to work on it but i dont know much about engines so my brother said hed help me but he doesnt know too much
Well i was swapping out the radiator and i got a spectra premium radiator
Well theres the two big hoses and then a third smaller one
And with the new radiator theres not a place to plug the third hose into
Ive been doing my research and it everywhere says that the radiator i got is good
So i dont know what to do

    Re: 472 radiator swap help

The third port was for the heater core return line. Your car has factory air conditioning, I assume. I have seen some Cadillacs which were strip models. A Cadillac without the power seats, power windows, and air conditioning. Those cars were Navy Gray. You will most likely find that radiator was for a Cadillac without air and there should be another listing with air. If, you feel you got a great deal on that radiator, you probably did and you have two options, actually three. Return the radiator and get the other, with air style. You can also take it to any reputable radiator shop and they can install a port or they can exchange the tank from the original radiator onto the new radiator. Good luck.
