The way to change that seal is not that hard. The first thing is unbolt the exhaust.. then take the nuts off the bottom of the motor mounts. now with the hood open, jack up the motor at the crank pulley.. Try to get it about as high as you can... Now you should be able to get the oil pan off.. after the pan is off take the rear main bearing cap off... Now the seal is a 2 piece and can be changed .Now you have to push the top half out of the channel and its easy to put in the bottom cap and just put it back together... Use oil to lube it up to help you get it in over the crank.. If you have a hard time getting it to go in the top you may have to loosen all the main bearing caps to let the crank drop down enough to let the seal in... Take your time and try to keep it as clean as you can..

Are you 100% sure it's the ream main seal? Oil pressure sender is right up top where it can make oil do funny things.
