    Unhappy oil pressure sending unit

wednesday night i took out my 1976 coupe deville out for a spin cause i had just replaced all 6 freeze plugs, shocks, u joints, cap, rotor, battery, rad cap. the big caddy was running fine untill about 20 miles into the drive when i noticed huge amounts of smoke coming out of the back of the car . when i pulled over the engine was dripping oil. the oil seems to be coming out if the top passenger side of the engine. does anybody have any suggestions what it could be, it is not the valve cover cause i just replaced the gasket, i was thinking it was the oil pressure senting unit, has anybody ever had this problem on there 500cid engine. has anybody took out the oil pressure senting unit? or have worked on ther unit? thanks

Some brake-clean and a flashlight should answer your question.
