Re: multimeter One of my alltime favorites next to the Simpson 260.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/FLUKE-77-Ser...item2324c5eed1 Re: multimeter I have never had a problem with cheap $10 multi-meters. I think my $20 Craftsman is almost 20 years old. Quality name brands are always nice but probably not necessary for a basic meter. Re: multimeter After years of buying the $10 meters .....I have come to this:
Treated myself to a $250 Fluke meter; that I ONLY use for automotive use.
Bought it straight from Fluke with a lifetime repair warranty. Made in USA... love it!
I use the $10 units for the household current jobs now.
My 2 cents
mike Re: multimeter Sometimes an analog meter does better. I have an old Heathkit CM1050, with good test leads; they show
up on Eb*y quite often. Bruce Roe Re: multimeter I just bought a heathkit cm 1050. am now needing good leads and an operator manual for it. if anyone knows where I can buy these let me know. thanks Re: multimeter Test leads - Radio Shack
Manual/assembly instructions - Google
