I broke my 425's EGR TVS the other day while I was tightening my belts. Lesson learned. It broke real easy, as the soft parts were all dried out. Where do I get a new one? NAPA says their source is currently un-available. I looked at pick n pull, but the problem is, most of the cars I'm going to find there are CA emissions, since that's where I live, but my car is Federal. The CA EVG TVS appears to have more ports on it, like 3 or 4, while mine only has two. I guess I could get a CA one and just block two ports.
Edit: They have these on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_no...ywords=egr+tvs
I suppose they might work. This one looks like the best bet, even though the BBCad isn't listed: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/compatibility-chart/B000C9JNRA?ie=UTF8&i=50
Edit 2: I called a GM parts desk and they gave me part number 546895, which led me to a replacement from Rock Auto. Forgot all about that place. Only $4.20 too!
