I'm trying to attract a little bit more traffic into the pushrod area. seems like there are only about 5 non north* engines on this board

Thumbs up

Yea lets see a 425, well that would need the Edelbrock aluminum intake, the Q-jet setup for performance, an MT-10 cam, some headers, fresh paint on the valve covers some new 8.5mm wires maybe a little chrome. I know get another air breather from the junk yard then get a little grinder and make that air cleaner a dual snorkle. Yea its eazy to spend somebody else's money to spruse up that engine bay real quick. This spring I will get some pics of my 509 and see if I can get them on the net. Whos got pics? Dead Sled post some pics when you get that thing cleaned up.

sure can, thanks

I got it cleaned up a little bit, but I will be doing all right when I get the 425 out and the 500 in

I like to go black with red trim

Black block, Cadillac Aluminum valve covers. paint the sheetmetal under there black and the whole frame Red, red vacuum lines. new wire looms, red fasners. A little bit of chrome Braided hose with AN fittings.
I'd like to move the battery to the back somewhere so I can free up a little room along theat fender where all the hoses bunch together

Sounds great are you building a 500 now? What are your plans for it? Did you see the pic of the 500 in the Green Camaro in Car Craft or something the other month? Mine is Cadillac blue block brackets & pulleys. Aluminum intake chrome valve covers & air breather. Light grey full length coated headers.

I dont have the 500 yet, But I'm keeping my eyes out.

I wish I had the room for the full lengths, it TIGHT on the pass side.

plans are for 500 HP

It all might have to hold off untill I get back from where ever over seas. If I do end up over there I know where the moneys goin when I get back.

I have a pushrod V8 too!

I'll be installing a new cam in it in a few weeks. Going with the Chevy ZZ3 cam and some nice valve springs. I'm shooting for mid to high 13's on the motor at the track. Hope this'll get me close...

Sorry I don't have any better pics:
