    it is the Olds 307 producing a earth shaking 140hp@ 3200rpms and 255ft. lbs. tourqe @2800rpms

    BTW how do you clean your engine bay? when you go to the car wash do you just use the high pressure water or what?

    NEVER use a pressure washer on a motor. just use some spray on degreaser and a garden hose.

    ok, that's what I was thinking,

    I know at our car wash you can choose between high pressure rinse or spot-less free (much lower pressure) so I wonder if that would work too

    I use a pressure washer every once in a while but am VERY careful on where I point it

    why wouldn't you ever use a pressure washer on an engine? As long as you don't hit the alternator or get water down the carb, you're fine. What's wrong with it?

    Perhaps this is obvious to some, but PLEASE make sure that your engine has cooled down before you wash it! I learned this the hard way by cracking a head.
