    368 to 350 swap

    i am looking at a 1980 hearse with a 368 in it. i can get double the horse power and torque out of a gm 350 crate. is this an easy swap? electronics? transmission? emissions?

    i thinking of using Barry Grant old school 3 deuces.

    Just about nothing lines up. Different trans pattern, engine mounts, computer. It would be far easier to put in a Cad 472 or 500 for more power. Bruce Roe

    Cadillac power is the only way to go. A 500 fits quite nicely ... there is plenty of info here.

    Even if you are not looking for that much power a 425 will bolt in and look stock...But if it were me it would be a 472 or 500...

    simple swap to 350 just put a 200 metric tranny out of olds 98 or olds 88 etc. has a universal bolt pattern. bolt some frame mounts on and hook everything back up 2 day job 1 if your good
