Amount power steering fluid...

Hello again,
I drive a 1968 Caddy DeVille with the original 472.
Just wonder if anyone knows about how much power steering fluid the system holds ?
I've searched the Shop Manual but can't seem to find the amount...

My 68 manual did not have any information, so I looked in a different year and found 1.3 L or 1.4 US qt. hope that helps....

I'm wondering why you need to know the amount of fluid. If flushing or replacing parts, it has to be brought to the cold level line on the stick.

SteelyBill - well, you see, I have a leak somewhere in the steering gear and the sealer product I bought says : use 3% of of the total amount power steering fluid...So that's why I wondered about that.
