| Re: 76 Eldorado Fuel Filter Yeah, I was hoping for that too. Actually, I was hoping the fuel line would break loose first, then I could remove the big 1" inlet nut with a socket. But, of course, when I turned the fuel line fitting, it instead broke the big nut loose, failing to separate the two. And, I can't rotate the fitting much without kinking the fuel line because the 1" nut is still attached to it. Looks like I may have to move the compressor.
I gave up when the wind started whipping up and the temperature dropped to 20 degrees here in Michigan and just put it all back together in a few minutes. My hands were freezing.
