    '70 Coupe - 472 Oil change questions

Just got this thing. It has it's pros and cons. Runs decent and tranny is smooth. Engine leaks oil though. My hope is that the filter's loose or something, who knows. I don't have a good manual for it yet, I am going to change the oil tomorrow. I bought 7 qts & the filter, ready to go. Anybody know how much the engine actually takes? Thank you for your time. -Skylar

I wanna say it takes a total of 5 quarts. Check the dip stick......I think it's marked on it how much it takes.

Lux Hauler is correct. 5 quarts with filter change. I am assuming stock oil pan.
