cant get thermo vaccuum switch for 1975 500

hi,

I have a 1975 deville and have a broken thermo vaccuum switch. Its the sensor that screws into the block under the distribator, and has two vaccuum ports to connect vaccuum hoses to. I went to auto zone they didnt have it. Went to the junk yard they were all broken. I called rockauto they had something simmilar but it had 3 ports comming out like on a 76 caddy. On my 75 deville its only 2 vaccuum ports comming out and a vent. Would anyone know if i could use that 3 prong vaccuum switch in my 75 and just cap one of the ports. If not where could i get the right tvs. Also is there anyway to hook up the vaccuum hoses without using the thermo vaccuum switch altogether. any help would be thankfull.

I think that the hose goes to vaccume advance on the distrubtor ..If it does then that vaccume switch just stops the advance until the motor is warm..by stopping the timing advance it will make the motor warm up faster... I think bypassing the switch won't hurt a thing... I would just bypass it..
