Someone offered me a 1973 (i think) coupe de ville. its in MINT condition except for the bumper fillers on the back. $650.00.

what do you think?

472 c.i. V8, with 92K miles. interior and body is apparently in great condition:

That's a 1974. Pretrty rare in that it's cloth interior AND an expensice factory Landau Roof...

Definitely looks like it's worth $650. I don't know whether I'd drive 2000 miles though.....but that's me.

If you're up for a road trip,that looks like a good excuse.My 80 came from FLA and the chrome and rocker panels are wicked nice w/o the sandblasting of New England.Plus you don't have all that scaly crud hiding under the car.I figure the mechanical work is a big bunch easier than body work.It's so much nicer to work with a car that isn't all undermined by rust.

If it's 1000 miles and $700 to deliver it.......$.70 a mile....not really a bad price. You'd probably be further ahead to fly in and drive it home though.
What state is the car in (assuming it's in the states.....?)?

i live in Houston, Tx. the guy's in Orlando, Florida. i took the trip there a few years ago, and it was almost exactly 1000 miles.

is there any way i could wait a while for some small company or individual that's coming down here? there's got to e someone with the hookups
