I'm going to buy a DeVille sedan 1968, how do I know which engine it's in it?
How can I check it?

If it's the factory engine, it'll be a 472. There will be a casting number on the back of the engine near the top, next to the oil pressure sender, just below the intake manifold.
Check the site below for ID info...
