1969 Cadillac Eldorado

I recently acquired a 1969 Caddilac Eldorado and need a windshield. Also could someone confirm the engine size, I'm told it is a 8.2 Liter 500 ci engine? Does anyone know where I may obtain parts, i.e Eldorado letters (name), trim, etc ......thanks

You've got a 472 (a 7.7L). You can get emblems at a junk yard, or an online cadillac store, even ebay. Just look it up.

Welcome to the board!!
Other than shopping around at junkyards, I'm not sure what to tell you about finding body parts. There are a few that I know of but have never had any dealings with them. One is Honest Johns......in Texas, I believe. The other is dBaer's Cadillac Ville (Pacific North West?). I'm sure there are more. Get a Hemming's Motor News. There's always lots of vendor ads in there.
The only engine Cadillac had in '69 was the 472. Very good engine and there are performance parts available for it. The 500 wasn't offered until '70.

well fellow eldog owners I have some parts for sale- 831-794-3311 1970 eldorado 8.2 liter 500 ci beast. with all the goodies
complete car runs all trim 100 percent complete. might have front fenders sold -person hasn't gotten back to me reguarding shipping.

Where are you (and the car) located??and how much do you want for whole package (with and without, the front fenders??

Hi,
do you still need fenders or whole car for parts....I have a 70 elod runs but is missing some interior trim and windows don't work. you can have the whole thing if you need it. I live in missouri and am just finishing a 68 eldo resotoration and thought I needed a parts car but the 68 was so complete I didn't need a thing.
