need help with 472 carb removal

i just purchased a carb rebuild kit for $10 from autozone, and i'd like to know how to get the carb off the 472.. i have the air cleaner removed, i just want to know if there are any precautions to take when unhooking various linkage and vacuum lines from the carb. also, it's held down with 4 bolts? or no..? if someone could help me by describing how to get this carb out i should be able to have a friend help me rebuild it. thank you!

Your best bet would be to get a manual that shows what goes where. That way you have instructions on what to do and pictures to go by.
    That's just my $.02......it's what I'd do.

There are only like 3 vacuum lines plus the power brake booster, so just mark them with some tape or something. Once they're off, pull the fuel line. Then it's a piece of cake. There are 4 bolts, 2 long ones on the front end, 2 short ones on the back.
