Does somebody have the part number available of the Quadrajet of a 1970 Eldorado?

7040232 the last digit, 2, really doesnt matter since it determines whether or not it was for a manual (odd) or automatic (even) transmission.

I never knew there was a manual transmission for the ELdorado??? Or does it just mean the Quadrajet was used on a manual transmission car?
How different should the carburator be for a manual transmission? Just curious...

Anyway, thank you so much! Now I can order my revision kit for the carburator! Get my ol' ship running for the summer

Yeah the old Delco plant is about 15 miles from my home, its long since abandoned but still stands. Its pretty neat, you can go see all the old smelting furnaces and stuff.

As for that tranny number, thats exactly why its neglectable, I have no idea why they would have a Cadillac code (prefix 70) with a manual transmission number, but I have seen it!
