    AVG MPG for 350LT1/ 350TBI

Hey, i have a 1992 Sedan Deville with a 4.9 TPI V8, i averaged about 13.6 mpg on premium, but now i am getting about 15.2 avg. I was wondering what you LT1 Fleetwoods average with about 900lbs more car. In my LT1 Roadmaster i got about 13.7 AVG MPG with 147k miles, and i drove it kind of hard, and mainly city driving, plus i'm not sure how good it was running. I bet
if i had new plugs, and stuff i could average 15, Is this reasonable? What do you guys average with any fuel injected 350? Is the TBI version much worse?

94 Fleetwood Brougham LT1, 3.42 gears (V4P), 18.5 average city/highway and 23.0 highway. Relatively easy driving (gotta save some gas!) 90F weather, AC on.

in my old 91 Sedan DeVille 4.9L, 2.73's (stock), 21.5-23 same drive as above, 27-29 highway.

With 600 miles driven a week, I have a fairly good idea what kills mileage! Heavy starts seemed to do far more damage to overall fuel economy than driving faster.

NODIH, you lucky sun of a gun, I wish my city was that good. Of course, I sit in traffic for 45-to an hour every day, not that that has anything to do with it.....

If I leave earlier for work, traffic is like that, bad. But my boss doesn't mind if I come in later and leave later. I get more work done when more people go home anyway!

With my old 91 SDV, you could watch the fuel economy indicator drop as you stayed stopped and idling. So gotta keep moving....
