    96 fleetwood pass key fault

Hi , I have a 96 fleetwood that has a pass key fault. The 'pass key fault' light comes on and the engine won't crank , then after some time the light goes off on its own and the engine cranks and runs! At times the light comes on while the car is running but it doesn't affect anything.
I've tried using the other key and remote but no luck... Help me plz!!!!

Re: 96 fleetwood pass key fault

It's usually caused by a broken wire for the ignition cylinder. Do a search for pass key, there are posts that say how to bypass it and also diagnose it.

I've already changed the switch and got new keys but it made no difference!

I've tried by-passing with a resistor but still no luck!
