Re: changing spark plugs 87 brougham (olds 307)

you can do it, just that the A/C gets in the way on the passenger side. I ended up having the garage down the street do the passenger side, since I don't have the tools needed to disconnect the A/C. But it's possible. Just be ready to twist yourself for the plug at the front on the drivers side. The Alternator bracket gets in the way. Go in from the bottom on that one, it's easier. I'm lucky to be young, and able to twist my arms around, without too much pain. Good luck.

no need to disconnect anything, it's just a pain in the ass. The passenger side is gonna take a hot minute but as long as you know that and leave yourself daylight for it, you'll be alright.

on my 88 brougham for some of the plugs, can't remember which ones, but it was easier to get to them if you took the wheels off and removed the flap that protects the engine compartment from road debris. either way i think you have to twist yourself pretty well, but i think that should help

Jack up the car a little and watch the plugs appear nicely . look between the top of the tire and the fender and you will have room. A nice long Extension on the socket is very good too.
