1995 Fleetwood AC electrical or computer issues

hi everyone im new to this site. i just bought a 95 fleetwood that needed some work and have some serious ac issues. i had a mechanic take a look at it and he told me that the fuse box were the ac relay goes is not getting power or signal from the climate control.he bridged the relay on the fuse box and the compressor turns on fine so he told me that the pcm ( i belive the computer that goes behind the glove box) needs to be replaced and also get a new climate control. im trying to see if he might have missed something. the person who had the car before me had rewired a new climate control and the mechanic thinks he might have shorted something out and also he notice that the ac fan was running constant and the other was burnt out. ( he showed me the plug and it was black inside) so i replaced that fan and he thinks that also might have caused an issue with the pcm. one more issue is that the last person also told me that the traction plugs from the rear end were un pluged and the light on the dash is on. the mechanic showed me the electrical chart and the traction control goes to the same computer as the ac could that affect the ac from not working? any advice? Thanks everyone in advance! sorry for going long on my question.

This isn't an engine related problem so this forum probably isn't the right place to get an answer.

You might find more help if you ask your question on the rear wheel drive forum. They will be able to offer more model specific help.

There is also an Electrical Technical forum, which you could try being that your problem is electrical.

The traction control being inoperative more than likely is not causing your AC problems. The climate control head is part of the PCM's diagnostic system, but I don't think you need a new PCM; just a new climate control head or programmer.
