$450 to R2 92 FW Distributor?
My son just called me from Omaha and said he'd had his 92 Fleetwood towed to a AAA mechanic because it wouldn't start. Verdict is a bad distributor and $450 to r2 it. Price seems high to me given the price for a rebuilt distributor is $130-$160, but I expect they're pricing a brand new one and the rest is labor. It would probably be about 3 weeks before I could get out there to help him change it ourselves, so that's probably not an option for him. Does $450 sound about right? Can anyone recommend a cheaper mechanic in Omaha?
