I don't know why they aggreed to fix mine and not yours. GM agreed to repair and clean the car as well as cover my expenses for rental car and taxi before I ever got an attorney involved. Perhaps the fact that my children were actually bleeding and they feared litigation? Who knows, all I know is that GM's customer service weaker than their debt rating. I hope the NHTSA investigation requires a recall and it costs GM much more than they have already agreed to.
