| Re: Caddy support They will give you a lifetime warranty, but wait until you need that second new rear put in and they tell you that you must have abused it so they will not warrant it. Even if they didn't give me a hard time and told me abusing it was ok, who the hell wants to break a rear every time you get the car to hook at the track? Caddy should develop a new MUCH stronger rear, and replace them as they need to.
I found Caddy customer service to be a joke. They are just a paid company told to go by the book that do not even work for GM. I had a problem I posted about where a Caddy Dealer in Torrington, Ct replaced my rear and did the fornt A-arm spacer/washer under recall and somehow all 4 tires were out of alignment, the rear was WAY out. It ate through my rear tires (to the chord) in less than 1k miles with the usual meat on one side, and chord on the other. The dealer said that GM does not require an alignment for those and told me my tires were bald when I brought them in. Seeing how I could not spin my tires at all w/ the wheelhop they had AT LEAST as much tread at the fronts (which are still on my car 4k miles later) .After at least 10 very heated calls to Caddy customer service I got absolutely no where. They told me it was a dealer issue, but at the same time would not say the dealership did something wrong. I asked for a rep to call me and Caddy customer service made the request. I called back a week later and they said the Rep denied my invitation to speak with me. All of this from a customer who in the last 3 years bough a WS6 TA, an 03 Vette, a $45k Silverado, and a $52k CTSV. I'm planning on speaking to my local Rep at the NY auto show to discuss my problems in front of a group of people. |
