    TRIFECTA Presents: MY2014+ Cadillac CTS 2.0T LTG Forged Connecting Rods


    This release post is a presentation of facilitating components that TRIFECTA offers to customers of vehicles with the LTG engine: You're looking at Forged Connecting Rods that are rated for 1000+ HP in the LTG platform




    Design parameters (and specifications) of the Cadillac CTS 2.0T LTG Forged Connecting Rods:

    -Produced from vacuum degassed 4340 chromoly alloy steel.
    -FEA/CAM/CAD designed with a fully machined profile removes excess weight from noncritical areas while retaining maximum material in strength critical areas for the lightest and strongest LTG connecting rods.
    -Specific TRIFECTA design specifications creates a unique profile that minimizes localized stress concentrations by utilizing increased minimum thickness on cap cross sections and bolt stress sections. Utilizes an elongated ribbed center mass for improved stress distribution while reducing windage.
    -Tapered pin end reduces reciprocating mass and maintains compatibility vs the OE LTG pistons.
    -Features bronze wrist pin bushings precision finished to less than 4 RA on the wrist pin bore.
    -Multiphase heat treated, stress relieved, and then full coverage shot peened after CNC machining for improved fatigue strength.
    -Each connecting rod is individually magnafluxed to be without void or flaw.
    -Each connecting rod is weight matched to +- 0.5 grams.
    -Features OE GM LTG connecting rod length, PE/BE width, and PE/BE bore size for compatibility with both the stock engine pistons and TRIFECTA specification LTG forged pistons (Stress relieved 2618-T61 forged aluminum, available separately)
    -Features proprietary ARP 7/16 Custom Age 625+ cap screws utilizing 100% thread engagement.
    -Retains compatibility with both TRIFECTA's high performance engine recalibration and the stock engine calibration
    -When purchased together with matching TRIFECTA LTG Forged Pistons, Piston and Rod combination will weigh within 1 gram of stock pistons (optional featureset); does not require rotating assembly rebalancing
    -Extended testing of 100,000 miles with over 100 hrs of wide open throttle testing
    -Designed and Made in the USA

    -TRIFECTA Forged Connecting Rods includes a TRIFECTA powertrain recalibration file and flash loader device, installation kit, and is RTR with everything necessary for installation with the exception of additional engine coolant, engine oil, and other fluids
    -Powertrain calibrations currently exist for the US, EU, MEC, and Asia areas, with more regions to follow
