    Annoying Electriical Problems

My 09 CTS has developed some annoying electrical problems over the past couple of months. First, the manual trunk latch will not work, no big deal the remote opens it
although it is annoying having to fish in my pocket for the remote. Second, the trunk will unlatch on it's own and the warning notice will appear on the instrument screen.
Third, and most troubling is the radio remains on when I exit the car. Sometimes it will go off after a couple of restarts and other times I have to turn off the radio, still
other times it works fine. Anyone else have these problems and how were they fixed? I hate to make a trip to the dealer only to have them tell me that they can't recreate
    the problem.

My 2010 had a similar issue - The door switch/actuator was not working correctly and telling the system that the door was open - Radio remained on after leaving the vehicle

    Hi jpenn,

I can understand how displeasing dealing with these electrical issues can be. I see that you are looking for some feedback from the forum instead of heading into the dealership regarding these concerns. If you change your mind, please send me a PM and I would be happy to discuss your options with a dealership.

    Enjoy your night,

    Austin J.
