    Voice Command Mispronunciation

I saw somewhere that there is a way to train the voice command system to correctly pronounce hard-to-pronounce names or words. Can anyone point me to where I'd find that or tell me how to do it?

    Thanks

I wish I could help. I have read and re-read that manual and I have not seen any such information. Have you tried to contact Customer Service. Maybe they can put you on the correct track.

I was reading the manual again today and there is a section in the CUE under settings that may help. Go to settings then Vehicle and then Voice. The first selection under Voice is called Confidence Threshold. You can select either Confirm More or Confirm Less. Try setting it at Confirm More and see what happens. It is worth a try. You can always go back.

    Re: Voice Command Mispronunciation

Thanks cafpaf. I wondered what those More/Less phrases meant. I'll try it tomorrow.

There is a series of 10 detailed tutorials explaining how to use CUE, on You Tube. They're produced by Cadillac Canada and they taught me a lot, so I recommend them. I looked through them again today, but there wasn't any mention of correcting pronunciations so if the Confidence Threshold setting doesn't help I guess I am mistaken. One thing they mentioned in the videos is that the Voice Commands (specifically the contacts list on your cell phone) are only as good as the data you provide, and that made me think if I wrote the word phonetically CUE might read it that way.

    Cheers
