On the bottom left hand portion of the instrument cluster is a small green indicator light. It is the letter s that is surrounded by a rough edged circle line. I can not find any information regarding this light in the owner's manual. I thought that it may had something to do with the heated steering wheel but the light remains on regardless of whether that function is on or not. Does anyone know what this light is for? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
dslay, Your information is exactly correct. I must have bumped the switch somehow. In any case, all is fine now. I saw in the manual that and indicator light would appear but I had no idea what it would look like. Thanks again for the help.
It was the indicator for Sport, but I think it is the same for snow. My model is the Luxury version with Nav, and 18" wheels. My 2008 was Black on Black and this one is Radiant Silver with Black. I love the Black exterior, but I am getting too old to properly care for a Black car that is used as a daily driver.
I need to correct my prior post. The indicator lights for Sport Mode and Snow Mode are different. The Sport Mode is as I described earlier. Essentially it is the letter S surrounded by what appears to be a tire. The indicator for the Snow
mode is the letter S in the middle of a snowflake. Sorry for the incorrect information.
