CTS premium coupe vs. sedan MSRP?

I'm new here, and spend most of my time on Corvette Forums, but am in the market for a new AWD ATS or CTS.

Before I decide on which platform, can anyone explain why there is such a price difference between the CTS coupe and CTS sedan?

The 3.6 CTS Premium coupe AWD MSRP1 Starting from $49,995 http://www.cadillac.com/cts-luxury-c...equipment.html

    and

The 3.6 CTS Premium sedan AWD MSRP1 Starting from $66,500 http://www.cadillac.com/cts-sport-se...equipment.html

    Why so different?

Your question can be better answered by your Cadillac dealer. They are entirely two different cars. You would have to see them and then and only then, will you understand the price difference. I can tell you it's night and day.

Re: CTS premium coupe vs. sedan MSRP?

The sedan is the all-new generation for 2014. The coupe is a carryover from the previous generation CTS. The lower trim-level sedans offer various option choices and can be very nicely equipped for considerably less money than the Premium.
