Spotted The 2014 Cadillac CTS @ Woodward

Spotted The 2014 Cadillac CTS in White Diamond at The 2013 Woodward Cruise yesterday. Very nice vehicle with a lot of road presence, much more than the ATS and XTS.

I was only able to get one picture. I am going back in a couple hours, if I spot any more, I will be sure to take some more pictures for you guys.

Here's a few other special Cadillacs I spotted.

See I think it looks like crap there. I think it looks better in darker colors plus the wheels are trash that must be the bottom of the bottom model. Sometimes the nose looks upright in some photos and then like this photo it looks slanted.

I totally agree with the OP, the car is gorgeous! If this is the mid-lux, can you imagine what the new flagship will look like?

Saw a black 2.0T pretty close up today. I reiterate that my feeling was.... Meh.

Seeing from that angle, the from reminds be of a jaguar, but boxier and more sharp points of course. Anyone else see the resemblance?

Still not crazy about the gappy looking fake side vent look with the LEDS....looks odd. The interior and the rest of the car is Boss though....

More pictures of the 2014 Cadillac CTS. I believe it was a 2.0T.

It looks very boring to me there. It looks too much like the ATS in that picture. I can't wait to see it in person, because the real life photos I have been seeing lately ( besides the promo photos and car show photos) don't look good to me. It looks very bland.

That is how I felt when I saw a black 2.0T last week. It just seemed boring.

We will have to see it in person. Hopefully it's not a let down. I find that the XTS has way more road presence than the ATS let's just hope that the CTS does. The XTS is a beauty, it would be perfect if the front end was a little longer but can't because of the FWD

Re: Spotted The 2014 Cadillac CTS @ Woodward

I think to those who are waiting to see the new CTS in person, that you may be let down. I live in Michigan and I have been seeing them around a lot lately. Do not get me wrong, it is a very nice looking vehicle. The problem for many who have the current generation CTS is that the car has been toned down a lot. The rear has lost all of it's sharp lines and angles, it along will all of the new cadillac models have been softened way too much. The rear no longer looks aggressive like the current generation CTS Sedan. The interior on the other hand has been greatly improved over the current generation and I appreciate the fact that it no longer has the extremely cheap plastics engulfing the interior.

In conclusion, If you love the design of the new ATS and XTS, you will love the new CTS. If you like the sharp lines and boxy look of the current generation CTS, then you will be disappointed.

One more thing to mention is that the new CTS Sedan is the first Cadillac to have Front LED turn signals. When looking at the new CTS from the front from afar, all the LEDS in the front really make it look like the front of the CIEL concept.

    ----------

The XTS has more road presence than the ATS only because it is a much larger vehicle than the ATS. The XTS looks pretty awkward from some angles and I believe that has to do with the fact that it is riding on a FWD Chevy platform. The ATS I think it a way better design overall than the XTS and the rear somewhat still retains the aggressive lines that the current generation CTS has.
