I also noted, that the premium trim packages get 'extended' leather surfaces.

    ie

    checkout the steering wheel bag.

Re: mini configurator goes live; trim details emerge

Here are my thoughts on the 2014 specs and pics for what it's worth I hope the Cadillac product mangers look at this forum.

My favorite new features are Full speed Adaptive Cruise Control Automatic Braking Automatic collision preparation Alert Seat, Front Parking Sensor.

Sorry to insult anyone but JET BLACK W/ MORELLO RED ACCENTS really? Looks nasty to me I was in an ATS loaner with similar configuration but had carbon fiber with red accents, Over board. Way to ruin a good thing.
Take a more direction from BMW, interiors and you will have nailed it!

Why no metal trim option for inserts? Wood Trim is not for me unless it's Black Zebra of whatever they call it in the current CTS-V that I own, Carbon Fiber is nice, But Brushed Aluminum or Stainless Steel is just elegant.

I did not like all aspects of the CUE, in the ATS is was slow, if just a CPU issue that is a fixable problem. Interesting that Ford is going back to knobs so did they screw up worse than the CUE?

For a third gen car nice progress and I am excited to see the real V if and when it comes.

Some might agree or disagree, I'll update next once I drive the car in the fall.

I'm going to have to disagree. Extended fox red is vomit-inducing. Luckily they'll gladly sell you 'less' leather, which is much nicer.

I guess it's a personal taste I would not buy either myself, The carbon fiber trim in that M3 is very nice to the touch.

Personally, I like how they've done the red in the CTS configurator -- black headliner, seats and carpet with only red on door panels. Nice way to accent. I'm glad Cadillac is offering different hues besides black, grey and tan. They've done that for far too long and the multiple color choices for interior is price of entry iin this category.
