Re: 2014 CTS S.F. Examiner column

This article, while obviously very pro Cadillac, carries some important facts which bode well for Cadillac and the new CTS. It's price point being below MB E and BMW5 and it's overall dimensions seem to indicate that it will be a strong competitor in the Luxury Mid Size market. One disappointing piece of information is the part about the CTS coupe being discontinued for 2014. There is a lot that can be read into the Edmunds statement, is it just for 2014 or forever. I can't believe Cadillac can wage a sucessful campaign against the Germans without a new CTS coupe.

Here is an addendum to my earlier post above: The SF article is dated 7/1/13 however, the most recent article from Edmunds I could find was dated 4/13/13 which clearly stated that Cadillac was considering a new 3rd Gen CTS coupe due to it's popularity and strong sales volume. Just curious as to what Edmunds article the SF Examiner was referring.

There is a link to the Edmunds article in the Examiner story. Click on the blue word "Edmunds," which appears twice. But just to be sure you see it, here's Edmunds' direct link to their article:

I have to see it in person. Still, no wagon/coupe.
