    Run Flats?

I have not seen mention of this in any official GM release,
but the one fairly close-up picture I see of a tire looks to me
    like the sidewall shows
    'RUN FLAT'.
Does anyone know for sure if they are - or are not ??
    Thanks,
    - Ray
Have Run Flats now - had them before, and prefer NOT
    to have them again ....

I had run flats on a Vette. I also prefer not to have them again.

    Re: Run Flats?

I had two Audis and a VW with 225/45-17 conventional tires; never a problem. Then an 07 BMW 335i with runflats in the same size. Bent wheels and busted tires were suddenly a normal occurrence. Then an 09 CTS with conventional Michelins; sold it with almost 70k miles and never bent a rim or busted a tire. Missed the turbo power so went back to BMW with an 11 335i; haven't bent any wheels yet but busted tires? Oh yes! Run flat tires are an unmitigated disaster. I was very excited about the ATS and went to test-drive one; nearly fell over when I saw it had RFTs. Definitely turned me off; what a stupid idea.
