Help Needed- Problem with rear shocks- Need Advice

I put my car on the lift and pulled the wheels in order to install my Eibachs. Car is a 12 coupe w/ 8,100 miles. I noticed that my rear shocks have a coating on them of black dust/oil and wonder if they are leaking. The fronts are clean. Should I be concerned and take to the dealer before I install the Eibachs and void my suspension warranty?

I'd appreciate your opinions. I've had the car only a week and it seems fine ride wise but have no V experience. On hold until I figure it out.

    Thanks,
    Sal

Normal. They all seem to seep a bit. Check with your dealer, they may replace them. But really not much an issue...

I'll probably install the springs and change them back if I need to in the future. I appreciate the response.

GM's theory, at least for me, was wet vs. dust. I could feel the oily residue on mine, so they switched them out.

I wiped them off and changed the springs. I blacked out the Eibach name and transferred the GM parts tags to them. They look stock to me.
