I live in the Milwaukee area. Do Not use "Late Model Throttle" in Waukesha WI. Also DO NOT use "West Bend Dyno" in West Bend WI either. There's only one shop that tunes my car and it's "SpeedInc" in Schaumburg IL. They are well worth the drive for how good they tune.
I use Fast motorsports in Woodstock and have been nothing but pleased with their service. Brandon really knows what he's talking about and is very honest. I've heard a lot of good things about speed inc also.
That's the guy who blew up the motor on his Corvette 3-4 times now with the latest one this past weekend. No thanks, I'd never let them build or tune my car!!! Just wanted to add. Jeff is a nice guy, nothing against him personally. I just don't have the confidence in his place's ability to build and tune a car. Nothing against him or Late Model Throttle. Just personal preference.
IMO, Speed-Inc is the only place to tune a "V". Jim at Speed-Inc is a doctor for tuning and the only tuner that touches my car!!!
I haven't had any problems at all with my V and it gotten pounded daily over the last yr. Jeff at Late Model Throttle puts a lot of time and attention into the work. Maybe he pushed his Vette to the limit which is fine for his car. I asked for a conservative 640whp tune and that's what he gave me.
Jeff pushes his corvette to the limit all the time and it makes over 900whp. And it's a '99 twin turbo C5. Needs a new motor, he's pushed his too far. Nothing wrong with beating on your own street car lol. LMT does great work. They just posted a V they are building on facebook, should be a beast. Plus their cam special is unreal.
900ish whp is A LOT no doubt but its not that earth shattering. there are lots vette's putting down those numbers and some more than that and aren't blowing engines over and over. Not bashing the guy. his personal car and he can do whatever he wants to it. but wouldn't you think that if you owned a performance shop that was equipped like LMT is that you could build a 900whp vette and not keep blowing the engine? That's my only point. I mean what's his advertising tool with it. "hey we can build your vette to 900whp but it will probably blow engines like mine does".. I just look at it like this. if that's how he builds his own car. then how is he going to build my car??? I use another performance shop in the Waukesha area that I am EXTREMELY happy with. The only thing they're missing is a Dyno but that's in the works...
He's never blown the engine. He's still got the stock motor and transmission in it. Building a forged motor over the winter. He's blown up the rear differential but it also has stock suspension. Not sure what you think will happen if you're running that much hp on stock parts? Jeff's a great guy, can't fault him for spending more time on customer cars than his own.

And where is there another performance shop in Waukesha? I was unaware of more options down here other than WBD or making the trip to Illinois!
I'd definitely stay away from West Bend Dyno.. Smaller shop just getting ready to make some noise. did the build on my CTS-V.. Awesome guy, ton of knowledge, super awesome work done. JM Motorosports. For the record. Not bashing Jeff in anyway. just lack the confidence when i see the problems he has with his corvette. if he's pushing that much power then he needs to know he has to upgrade in other areas of the car as well.. not just keep pushing it like that. But his car his preference. anyone can go to him or anyone can go to someone else. Just personal preference. I used to own a Camaro SS and meet the guy from JM Motorsports through that group. Great guy, never steered me wrong, always gave me above and beyond attention and service. So my mechanic and shop of choice. and never regretted it once..
A good mechanic is hard to find! I'll have to check the place out. Always nice to see more performance shops in the area.
