I made two pulls with my completely stock 19000 mile cts-v coupe on my Dynojet 224x 510rwhp and 507rwhp. a/f ratio was a fairly consistant 12.2:1. Going to install a 2.55 pulley. build a CAI, 160 stat and tune it (as soon as I figure out he HP Tuners software). Numbers seem a lile highfrom what I have read, I attribute that to the manual trans.

Would sure like to have your full data set for the bone stock dyno run for my dyno charts.
45 RWHP SAE gain is pretty unbelievable gain for CAI only install.
Were those "one run" only #"s or were there multiple runs for both bone stock & the CAI install?
I will see what I can pull up & get to you. By my car dynoed 473 is a bit mis leading, it was another V that was dynoed earlier in the week that was stock so i apologize for that it wasnt my own personal car. I posted up the dyno runs in a thread not long ago. Cars high was 524 but was consistently in the 517-518 range on back to back pulls.
I built a CAI today, used a 4" aluminum pipe, stock air box lid, gutted the bottom half and put a K&N filter in it. I will probably make a couple more pulls tomorrow and see where it is. It sure sounds supercharged now!
I attached the Dyno shhet and corrected it to read SAE horsepower. I made my own CAI using 4" aluminum piping, silicone hose and a drop in K&N filter, and modified airbox. Run 1 and 2 are my STOCK baseline and 3 and 4 are after I installed the CAI. This thing responds well to mods! Ill be good to go as soon as I get a better handle on the HPTuners software!
I wonder if you have or can easily have a look at your stock exhaust?
While looking over the underside of my V Coupe, I noticed that the cross section of the left exhaust pipe is quite oval, while the right is circular. That is in the area immediately behind the flange where the pipe becomes parallel to the ground. The height of the left pipe section is about 1.7 inches while the right is about 2.5 inches, the pipe diameter.
That really seems odd for a high performance system. Since the two sides are so symmetrical, I would expect the pipe dimensions to be very similar at each point. Further, I expect that symmetry was actually chosen to provide good back pressure balance over the operating range.
How does your's look? I would really appreciate hearing.
Good luck with your V. I have only driven mine for a couple of thousand miles so far - fun car!
Billy Anderson??? Turbo Buick Billy? Messing with Vs now, huh. Good deal. MAGNA club rep from NJ here, also with a V. Seems like a lot of GN guys are also V owners.
HAHA! Whats up? I cant leave anything alone, fun car!
