Accelerated quickly from a light on the way home. Nothing stupid or reckless.

Check engine light went on. Read the code:

P015D - O2 sensor delay bank 2 lean to rich.

Will schedule a dealer visit. Car seems to run fine. Anyone ever get this?

    Hi gohawks63,

I can understand your concern with the check engine light coming on. If you would like me to contact the dealership on your behalf, please PM me your VIN, mileage, dealership, and contact information.

Hope to hear from you soon,

They will probably just replace the front passenger side o2 sensor. Or you will get a new set of injectors.

    Thanks.

Interesting thing in all if this is that the last few days before the light went on I noticed that the car seemed to be missing a bit when I was stopped at a light.

On the ride in this morning it seemed to be idling smoother (with the CEL on).

Well as expected it was a bad O2 sensor. Surprised it went bad after only 11,500 miles.

The dealer didn't have the part but they are driving to Lansing Mi to get it which is only about an hour away. Dealer didn't have a loaner but put me in a rental.

Should have it back by end of day and for the weekend. Great service so far from my dealer considering they had short notice and fit me in.
