I'm happy with my 2013 CTS-V but not very happy with General Motors. There presently is no 6.2 liter v8 for 2014 so why did they post it on their website and make it look like you can buy the high output V8. Why would they even call the 2014 a V when its nothing close to previous editions. They cheapen the brand and they cheapen themselves by doing this. No wonder the Germans are always considered as above them in quality and everything else. No class and plain stupid.

Am I missing something?

BMW has the M-Sport series that is essentially just a cosmetic upgrade. Audi does the same as my colleague just bought an A6 with the S appearance package. Lexus goes along and does the same thing with the F-Type.

Why is it wrong for Cadillac to do the same? As a matter of fact Cadillac has taken it a step further by actually upgrading the performance with unique engines over the non-V-sport trim levels.

Audi does it to. They have S where you get engine, suspension, and seats and body work, S-Line….where you get seats and body work but NOT engine and maybe suspension, and RS versions which is like the S buy a higher tune….BMW has M, M Sport , and IS versions…

So the OP must have issues with learning how to recognize various car lines…..

WHY ARE YOU YELLING! By the way... You still have it wrong. Last time from me... and maybe if I yell it you will understand.

THE NEW 2014 CTS VSPORT IS NOT A "V" IT IS A VSPORT. THE ACTUAL "V" STILL HAS 556HP. THE NEW 2014 VSPORT IS IN THE SAME CLASS AS THE BMW MSPORT AND THE AMGSPORTLINE. THE CADDY IS FOLLOWING SUIT OF ALL MANUFACTURERS. THE 2014 "V" IS STILL OFFERED WITH 556HP. A NEW ACTUAL "V" IS RUMORED TO BE OUT IN 2015 WITH 660HP. WE WILL ALL HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE. UNTILL THEN THEY HAVE STARTED A BRAND NEW VSPORT LINE. NOT A WATERED DOWN LINE. ITS A NEW LINE JUST LIKE THE WATERED DOWN LESS HP LINES THAT BMW AND MERCEDES OFFER.

UNDERSTAND NOW????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I apologize for yelling. I thought maybe it would help.

OK I get it. v and v sport. But more north american cars Are made in Canada than in the U.S. bro. So I think you need to know your facts as well before you talk like you know it all BRO!

QUOTE=spearfish25;11248778]Maybe he should just buy Canadian cars...

You are a more of an F-ing idiot than I thought if you think Canada make more cars than the US. Canada doesn't even come close. You are serious full of horsepoo. Even Brazil, Iran, and the F-ing Czech Republic makes more cars than Canada.

Which country produces most cars?

China.1 out of 4 cars produced in the world comes from China.China was the world’s third-largest car market in 2006, as car sales in China soared by nearly 40% to 4.1 million units. Soon thereafter, China took the lead and became the world’s first-largest car market, as low vehicle penetration, rising incomes, greater credit availability and falling car prices lift sales past those of Japan. Furthermore,*vehicle penetration in China still stands at only about 40 vehicles per 1,000 people, compared with approximately*700 vehicles per 1,000 people in the mature markets of the G7.More than half of the cars are produced in Asia and Oceania, whereas*Europe produces almost a third.Below, a summary of global car production by country in 2011:Rank*CountryCars produced% of total*world production1*China14,485,32624.0%2*Japan7,158,52511.9%3*Germany5,871,9189.7%4*South Korea4,221,6177.0%5*India3,038,3325.0%6*U.S.A.2,966,1334.9%7*Brazil2,534,5344.2%8*France1,931,0303.2%9*Spain1,819,4533.0%10*Russia1,738,1632.9%11*Mexico1,657,0802.8%12*Iran1,413,2762.3%13*U.K.1,343,8102.2%14*Czech Republic1,191,9682.0%15*Canada990,4831.6%16*Poland722,2851.2%17*Slovakia639,7631.1%18*Turkey639,7341.1%19*Argentina577,2331.0%20*Indonesia561,8630.9%21*Belgium560,7790.9%22*Thailand537,9870.9%23*Malaysia488,4410.8%24*Italy485,6060.8%25*South Africa312,2650.5%26*Romania310,2430.5%27*Taiwan288,5230.5%28*Hungary211,2180.4%29*Australia189,5030.3%30*Sweden188,9690.3%31*Slovenia168,9550.3%32*Uzbekistan146,3000.2%33*Portugal141,7790.2%34*Austria130,3430.2%35*Ukraine97,5850.2%36*Egypt53,0720.1%37*Netherlands40,7720.1%38*Serbia25,4940.04%39*Finland2,5400.004%*Others367,1380.6%**Total60,250,038100.0%

I just checked into this thread for the first time in a week. I am simply incredulous that the OP is incredulous about my very detailed answer to his question, which is where the thread should have ended.

I will say, though, reading through this thread has been quite entertaining. :) I mean, QUITE ENTERTAINING!
