    Would you buy it?

Just some fun with photoshop. The blue is supposed to be something close to BMW's Estoril Blue, or Subaru's WR Blue or Audi's Sprint Blue. Despite the CTS-V - especially the wagon - being one of the most insane production vehicles ever, the colors never seemed to match the personality of the car.

There is an opulent blue that if it were out when I bought mine I would have been all over it with the yellow calipers. GO BLUE!

    ----------

CORRECTION. MAZE calipers! Sorry to all the die hard fans. GO BLUE!

    Re: Would you buy it?

I loved my WRX's WR Blue. This looks very similar, and I always wondered what the V would look like in blue. Would buy.

Then I'd have to paint the headlight guts, grille, and side vents black.

Look slightly brighter than my Opulent Blue wagon. For comparison, here's my OBM beauty:

Before tint but better view of the blue:

Stealth blue, i think it has the personality required for a V wagon.

    Re: Would you buy it?

They should have offered a metallic orange.

They should have offered a pearl yellow, similar to the 3000GT

I would say though, there were a ton of colors available for the CTS-V2, more so than many performance cars. You couldn't even get an SRT8 First gen in white....

Yes. Yes, it is. Too bad (or not ) it was a limited run. I'd have hit it if it were available when I bought.

OBM is still the color, though.

No to the orange one. If it were more the old GM gold, maybe.

    Re: Would you buy it?

I like the bright blue; the orange is a little pale, almost like a school bus. But I'm not a fan of metallic oranges, generally.

What about Corvette's Millenium Yellow? Or Camaro's Synergy Green? If you want something bright...
