These V's do seem to hold their value well, a lot of people want them for under 40K, but that does not seem to happen very often unless it's a salvage car or something.

True. I paid mid 40's, but it has $12K in mods. Still, I can't/won't say I got it for anything less than what I actually paid.

As I have a need to drive year round, on hills, in snow, I was looking at '10-'12 Legacy GTs.

It's amazing how hard it is to find a manual transmission car with leather, moonroof, nav in any configuration of drivetrain for less than $30G. So I still have my V.

If I can make it to next year, I sell my Town Car and can nearly pay off the V. But $950 monthly payments are getting old...

You could refi at Penfed.org, 1.49%, unless of course you caught a 0%.

Had one of these subarus before and they are great! You can have quite a bit of fun with those cars as well. All wheel drive turbo with a little modifications makes for another fun "sleeper". Good luck with sale, and I couldn't empathize with you more about the $950 payments. I beat my head every month and ask myself what the hell am I doing!
