Do all the V's light do this?

I know they go left to right on startup but my left light does more traveling then the right.

    Is this normal?

If you sit on the passenger side it won't be so bad.

    Mine does that exactly!

I don't know much about this stuff, but keep in mind that headlights aren't supposed to aim straight ahead... Usually they are adjusted for higher aim on the right, etc... I'm assuming it's calibrating for the offset...

Think of your side mirrors... They are aimed differently since the driver needs to see what's there... Same thing with headlights, they aim weirdly so you don't blind on coming traffic...

Yes, that's my video. The Adaptive Lighting System goes through a test at startup to assure it's working properly.

My guess is that it's going to the right physical stop to calibrate a position encoder. They have more travel to the outside than the inside, so that's why you see the right going further. If the control developers chose to go left to calibrate, I expect you'd see the same thing going left.
