It may have gone through a non-Manheim auction.

I'm pretty sure it went through Adesa. I actually have an Adesa login, but I can't figure out how to review auctions that are older than about 40 days. Anybody an expert on Adesa reports?

If I can get a wagon for ~$40-42K next spring, the GS350 will go bye bye...
Found it in the auction. Had to monkey with the Adesa database a bit to search back in May, but got it. I'm going to offer them $750 over auction price, since it's a buyback with a lemon title.

They seem to not want to move from $3,500 over the auction price.

    /shrug

Nice having a car that works well for me. Waiting out car dealers is on of my favorite things to do. I'm sure a lot of dealers would jump at less than a $3,500 gross....especially on a car that has a lemon title.

They have great deals on the ally smart lease for 2012 models right now. I am tempted, but would rather buy a slightly used one in a few months.

Probably a good plan. Lease or not, it's clear to me that these things get killed by depreciation.

I wonder why GM manufacturer vehicles sell for so much less. Do the dealers assume they have been abused? They certainly don't try to pass the savings on to customers.

All three of those 2011's have been in service for almost 2 years.

Waht the heck does GM do with cars that only get 200 miles in 2 years?

    Car shows? Training? Press vehicles?

My Father bought a 2009 Corvette Convertible Indy 500 parade car back in 2010. It had a few hundred miles on it as well. It sat in a warehouse in Indianapolis until GM took it to auction where he bought it.

I bet you the used 2011 wagon prices will go to the low 40s once winter arrives.

I agree. I'm far less eager to buy one now, than I was even a few weeks ago. With winter nearly here, it seems pointless to egt the car and slap some winters on it right away. I will probably wait to January.

Grossinger Cadillac near me still has five 2012 V Wagons on their lot. That will bring used prices down

    Yikes...so they do!

Many of the dealers are charging 60+ for used 2012s. Good luck with that, guys.
