Hey good guys. As someone may know, I am a 3d game modeler and I have almost done to model the new CTS-V.

Unfortunately I still searching the engine sound. Youtube movies are just poor as quality to extracting a good game engine sound. Can someone help me?

How to get a good engine sound:

The 2009 Cadillac CTS-V has a complex engine sound. At low rpm the engine is "quite quiet", but once the engine get revs the sound completely change, and the turbines become loud.

I need a continued loop with fixed rpm. In example, one at low rpm (before the turbo starts) and another one at HALF rpm (es: 3000 rpm for a CTS-V) about 2 or 3 seconds.

I know is not completely easy, but I will appreciate your help.

thxin advance:thankyou:
PS: Remember to avoid other ambience rumors (wind, or something like that)

Is a Mac Racing Game, called Redline. A real simulator (not arcade)
what perspective are you looking for? As a driver would hear it, or someone standing on he street hearing it as it goes by? Inside or outside the car?

3000 RPM under Wide Open Throttle (WOT), or cruising?

Six completely different sounds:

Inside WOT
Outside WOT
inside Cruising
Outside Cruising
inside Idle
Outside Idle
Oh GoD!!! Nice questions. Well, unfortunately I don't know how the engine sound change in WOT or cruising. The best may be cruising, hoping tires sounds does not ruin the engine sound. All sound should be inside at fixed rpm. An idle sound is good too.

No, a phone doesn't work. It record sounds a poor quality.

thx LITTLEELVISDAN for any help. I seeing you well prepared to this challenge

ok, engine sound was done. The ingame car is also already available. Now I'm fixing some stuffs for second release. I need to know where is place the rear turn signals.

I know Cadillac is not using the orange European colored turn signals. Can someone get a quick picture of turn rear light on?

Thx!
