I just found out that I am missing out on the silver brake and acceleration pedals that come with the Recaro package. I purposefully didn't get the Recaro package because I don't like the way the seats grip my body, but I do like the pedals. Does anyone know the product numbers so I can order them? Also, maybe an idea of how much they will cost? Thanks.
The fact is, GMPD's shipping costs are outrageous. Aside from their customer service, which is crap, and their turn-around time, which is measured in years, not calendar days.
I can see how it might have come off a bit snobish, that was not my intent.
Well good to know as I have never used GMPD. Just saw that was one of the top sites that popped up when googling the part # and the price looked good. Def order from Rippy as their customer service is 2nd to none!
So once installed said gas pedal assemble, does the dealer need to program it or is it plug and play?
thank you for your service Rippy, sometimes I spend more money then I think I should to keep my business at my local shops, being a small business myself
When I had my 2012 AWD Coupe I purchased these pedals.. Comes with instructions.. Replacement is straight forward.. Unplug and unbolt the gas pedal, and replace with the new one.. Pry off the brake pedal and slip on the new brake pedal. Simple as that no additional programming.
I might consider a dead pedal that looked exactly like the Recaro package pedals. Currently have an Ultimate pedal in place that doesn't match (but doesn't look bad, either).
I wonder if you cut it out just like the recaro pedals if the black rubber from the dead pedal would show through enough to make it look close to the others?
That sure seems like a plan! I've met you at an earlier Cars & Coffee!
Mike
