Hey All!

So I finally got around to re-dipping my CTS-V. This is a custom mix of blue. I wanted darker than fonzies, and I think I achieved my goal. This is 3 gallons of blue mixed with 1 gallon of black. The results of a full spray with the gun turned up turned out AWESOME. Not a spec of texture. I've got to wrap up some finishing touches tomorrow, but here are some preview pics for the night...

UPDATED: daytime pics below

Thanks,

Captain

I didn't see the daylight pictures last night. While it is much improved over the red, looking at your first day light picture, it appears the dip is a bit uneven. Maybe it's just the angle. That was my one issue with Plasti Dip. Large panels are VERY difficult to get even. I ripped it off the trim around my windows and had those wrapped with vinyl as the unevenness drove me crazy.

I'm not sure man. It looks pretty even in person, if you look down the side of the car when you're sitting or laying on the ground, looking up, you can see a little bit of uneven-ness, but i think that just comes with plasti-dip. It's nothing that would steer me away from the product, as 97% of the time it looks as smooth as can be.

Well done. Definitely better than the red.
