Question about EFI Live AutoCal and W4Me

I recently purchased an AutoCal from Jes at Wait4Me and it is awesome!

I used the EFIExplorer and loaded three tunes onto the AutoCal (they show up in tune 1,2,3 and Full 1,2,3). I don't know how (or if it is possible) to apply the tunes to the ECM/TCM using only the AutoCal (no computer). When I use the AutoCal arrows to go to Switch Tunes it says CONFIG Required or something...

Does anyone else know how to do this? I've googled and read a lot (which is how I figured out how to save to the AutoCal).

    Thanks

I still don't know what you're asking. You can't load the tunes into the V's ECM/TCM or something else?

Sorry, I am able to load the tunes into the ECM/TCM when I have the AutoCal connected to OBD2 and computer at same time. I use EFILive V8 to flash the tunes... I would like to know how you flash tunes to the ECM/TCM using only the AutoCal (once the tunes have been loaded onto the AutoCal)... I feel dumb for asking, but I have no instructions, have done many searches and the best I can come up with is the Lingenfelter instructions PDF.

I tried again and am getting $0502 error... When I searched it showed up configuration error. I guess I need Jesse to program/configure they device...

    Any help Jesse?

doing that requires you to setup the autocal to do that. Open the V8, go to BBX and select E67 and T43 on the flash types allowed, then just format the device at the bottom and then TRANSFER system stuff, then it will work. Even though it is just as easy to just use the laptop.

Thanks Jes! The tunes worked great and based on your last email, you saved me $900!
