sure will but I haven't done any mods to the hood or lid yet which is why I wanted to see what others did to their hoods.

I just got mine today and will try to swap it out tomorrow. I will take pictures if modification is necessary. Hopefully it won't

Not possible, there is going to be cars that it fits and cars that it hits the hood. The clearances are not the same on all cars - tolerances on the engine cradle, and other parts will affect the hood clearance. Be prepared going in to modify it.

+1! As a Dimensional Management engineer in the aircraft industry, where part tolerances matter but pale in comparison to auto industry due to the huge amount of parts made, this is absolutely true.

Just because they make a limited number of our cars doesn't mean they are using better assembly line equipment with better process capability tolerances

I took the hood liner off and cut the bulges in the hood that were touching the lid. You have to mod the hood or the lid, I think the hood is better since you wont see the holes anyway. Cutting was much better/quicker than banging. Thanks Luke for the Lid!!

Could you post a couple photos of the cutting you did? You said cut the bulges that touch the lid - I'm assuming you meant bulges in the hood heat liner? Just curious how much you had to cut out.

I didn't cut the hood heat liner. I removed the liner and cut the hood itself using a dremel then put the liner back on. Unfortunately phone was dead so I couldn't take a picture, but you will see
the bulges I'm talking about as soon as you remove the liner.
