Very nice times for stock at a track with marginal prep too. Not like ATCO, VMP or MIR timeslips.

What was your 60ft.? Damn, you beat my stock time and my time with adding the CAI. My trap was more though. You are driving that bad boy!

I'm running Bridgestone RE-11's. 60 foot times were 1.735, 1.757, 1.829 and 1.875. (I also had a fourth run of 11.90 @ 119.42 MPH. The ET was way off the three runs in the 11.70's, because the car also spun on the 1/2 shift and got a little sideways.) The Density Altitude ranged from -269 to -146 feet for the four runs.

My 60 foot times for 15 runs on Michelin PS2's during 2012 and 2013 ranged from 1.851 to 1.958. The quarter mile performance for these 15 runs ranged from 11.873 to 12.150. The Density Altitude for the 15 runs ranged from 100 feet to 2100 feet.

Considering differences in Density Altitude and track prep, I estimate that the RE-11's cut my 60 foot times by about 1/10 of a second.

nice times, but when you use stickier or different tires than factory, you should say that instead of saying your car is still "factory stock"

The best time ET / MPH my CTS-V turned on Michelin PS2's was 11.873 / 119.58 MPH on a day in 2013 when the Density Altitude was not as good as it was on the day that the car's best ET / MPH was 11.720 / 120.78 MPH. Part of the ET improvement and all of the MPH improvement was attributable to the better Density Altitude, while part of the ET improvement was attributable to the tire change. I'm not trying to deceive anyone. I said my car was factory stock on "street tires" in my initial post. RE-11's are not drag radials.

Its all good, its just that even if the tires only helped you cut a tenth off your 60ft, with good air that can lead to a 2 tenth improvement in the quarter.....so stickier tires can make a large impact on your overall et - which I am sure you know. This spring I hope to get my car to Gateway Raceway here in STL for its first runs.
